WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE THE MASTER (PART 2)
KEY TEXT: 1 Timothy 1:12 KJV – “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry”

What ministry has God entrusted you with? Perhaps it's a ministry of counseling, giving, or something else. How are you utilizing the ministry you've been committed to? You may have asked God to do one thing or the other for you, and when He answered, instead of using what the Master has done to serve him, it becomes an excuse for you to avoid doing God’s work. Luke 14:18-20
Jesus Christ, our ultimate example, served His Father's purpose. From birth to death, He served humanity all through. As the author and finisher of our faith, are we following in His footsteps? He declared He was doing the Father's will, and so should we, without making excuses. 1 John 2:6
Jesus, knowing the Father had given Him all things, that He was from God and going back to Him, arose from supper, laid aside His garments, took a towel, and washed His disciples' feet. If Jesus, the King of kings and all-powerful, could humble Himself to serve, shouldn't we do the same? Are we serving the Master with what He has given us, or are we using it for selfish gain? John 13:14-15
PRAYER:
Father, Lord, I ask for Your mercy in areas where I have made excuses and failed to serve You as I should. Please forgive me, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
PRAYER POINTS
1. My Father and my God, thank You for counting me worthy to serve You. Grant me the grace to be faithful and steadfast in the assignment You've entrusted to me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
2. Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me from every spirit of excuse and distraction that hinders me from fulfilling my divine assignment; help me to serve You with all diligence and humility, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
3. O Lord my Father, just as Jesus served faithfully and selflessly, empower me to walk in His footsteps and to serve others with a pure heart, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
4. My Father, help me to use every gift, position, and blessing You've given me for the advancement of Your Kingdom and not for selfish gain, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
5. Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen me to remain steadfast, unmovable, and abounding in Your work, knowing that my labor in You shall never be in vain, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name Amen.
