WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE THE MASTER

KEY TEXT: Ephesians 2:10 KJV – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

Many people mistakenly believe that they can live life as they please because of God's abundant grace. However, as believers, we are saved to serve the Master, shining as lights in the darkness and guiding lost souls back to Jesus Christ. Each of us has a unique assignment, and I pray that we will fulfill it faithfully in the name of Jesus Christ. As God's workmanship, created through His Son Jesus Christ, we are called to join Him in building and expanding His kingdom. 1 Corinthians 3:9

It's essential to ask yourself: Does my plan align with God's purpose and long-term perspective for me? Every true believer must recognize that they have a specific assignment. The Bible doesn't limit this assignment to a select few; instead, it says, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

We are in a spiritual battlefield, and getting entangled in the things from which Jesus delivered us hinders us from fulfilling His purpose. We must keep ourselves pure, remembering that we are saved to serve the Master. To effectively serve Him, we must prepare the temple of God and maintain a daily commitment to His service. 2 Timothy 2:4

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, I pray for the heart of a faithful servant to serve effectively in Your vineyard, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Romans 12:1 KJV – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

1. Father, thank You for saving me through Jesus Christ. Help me to live a life that reflects Your purpose and to serve You faithfully all my days, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. O Lord my God, deliver me from every distraction and entanglement of this world that may hinder me from fulfilling my divine assignment, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Lord Jesus, empower me by Your Spirit, to be a true light in the midst of darkness, winning souls and building Your kingdom with zeal and love, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. My Father and my God, make me a vessel of honour in Your vineyard. Let my life, words, and actions continually bring glory to Your name, as I serve You diligently, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
