THE REVIVAL OF GOD THAT LASTS (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Lamentations 5:21 KJV: “Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.”

SUSTAINING REVIVAL: Revival that lasts is sustained by consistency in fellowship with God. It is not a one-time emotional encounter but a daily commitment to prayer, obedience, and studying the Word of God. When a believer remains yielded to the Holy Spirit, the fire continues to burn. Lasting revival requires guarding your altar so that your consecration does not grow cold. 1 Thessalonians 5:19

THE ENEMIES OF REVIVAL: One of the greatest enemies of revival is compromise. When sin is tolerated, the fire of God begins to fade gradually. Spiritual carelessness, pride, and prayerlessness can quench what God has started. Therefore, a revived believer must remain watchful, humble, and quick to repent whenever conviction comes. Proverbs 28:13

THE FRUIT OF LASTING REVIVAL: True revival always produces visible transformation and spiritual fruit. It restores joy, renews strength, and increases hunger for righteousness and soul-winning. When revival is genuine, it brings times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord and impacts others around you positively. Acts 3:19

PRAYER:

O Lord, sustain the fire of revival in my life and help me to remain steadfast in You in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Romans 12:11 KJV: “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. O Lord, sustain the fire of revival in my life; let my zeal for You never diminish or grow cold in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. Father, deliver me from every spirit of compromise, pride, and spiritual carelessness that seeks to quench Your fire in me in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. O Lord, grant me the grace to remain consistent in prayer, holiness, and obedience so that my revival will not be seasonal but lasting in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. Father, let the fruit of true revival be evident in my character, my service, and my hunger for souls; make my life a living testimony of Your power in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
