THE POWER OF HOLINESS IN THE LAST DAYS (PART 5)

KEY TEXT: Revelation 22:11-12 KJV: “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

THE REWARD OF HOLINESS: Holiness unlocks blessings, favor, and eternal reward from God. The Word assures us that those who remain holy and steadfast in these last days will shine like the stars, receive crowns of righteousness, and enjoy intimate fellowship with Christ forever (Daniel 12:3; 2 Timothy 4:7-8).

HOLINESS BRINGS DIVINE PROTECTION: Beyond eternal reward, a holy life brings supernatural protection. God shields the believer from the snares of the enemy, calamities, and spiritual deception. Walking in holiness makes the believer a dwelling place of God’s glory and a channel of His blessings to others (Psalm 91:1-4; Isaiah 57:15).

HOLINESS ENSURES EFFECTIVENESS IN MINISTRY: Those who are holy in life are also powerful instruments in God’s kingdom. Their prayers prevail, their counsel bears fruit, and their witness impacts lives for eternity. Holiness enhances spiritual authority and effectiveness in service for God (1 Peter 2:9; James 5:16; Matthew 5:16).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, let holiness be my lifestyle. May my life reflect Your glory, attract Your blessings, and secure my eternal reward. Strengthen me to be holy in these last days, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Daniel 12:3 KJV: “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
