MAINTAINING HOLINESS: Holiness is a daily pursuit and requires intentionality. Believers must actively guard their hearts, thoughts, and actions, making choices that align with God’s Word. This is not a one-time decision but a lifelong discipline that protects the believer in a world that promotes compromise (Romans 12:1-2; Proverbs 4:23).

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES: Prayer, fasting, meditation on the Word, and fellowship with other believers are essential tools to maintain holiness. These disciplines help keep the believer sensitive to the Holy Spirit, strengthen resistance to temptation, and deepen intimacy with God (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 6:33-34).

AVOIDING SPIRITUAL COMPLACENCY: One of the greatest threats to holiness is spiritual laziness. Believers must avoid lukewarmness, allowing their hearts to remain fervent and passionate for God. Regular self-examination and accountability help prevent compromise and sustain holiness (Revelation 3:15-16; 2 Corinthians 13:5).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, empower me to maintain holiness all my days. Help me to live a disciplined life, stay fervent in spirit, and be fully consecrated to You in these last days, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Romans 6:22 KJV: “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”
