THE POWER OF HOLINESS IN THE LAST DAYS (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Proverbs 4:18 KJV: “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

THE BENEFITS OF HOLINESS: Holiness brings blessing, protection, and divine favor. A holy life positions the believer to receive God’s guidance and protection in a world full of deception and danger. Holiness brings clarity of mind, discernment, and the ability to resist temptation (Psalm 119:9-11; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

HOLINESS GUARANTEES SPIRITUAL EFFECTIVENESS: The more a believer walks in holiness, the more powerful their prayers become, and the greater their influence for Christ. A holy life attracts God’s presence and blessing, enabling the believer to overcome challenges and be a light to others (James 5:16; Matthew 5:16).

HOLINESS STRENGTHENS ENDURANCE: Living holy strengthens the believer to endure trials, persecution, and the challenges of the last days. Those who pursue holiness are anchored in Christ, making them unshakable by the world, the flesh, or the devil (Hebrews 12:1-2; James 1:12).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, help me to pursue holiness with all my heart. Let Your Spirit guide me, protect me, and make me fruitful in every good work, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Psalm 119:1-2 KJV: “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”
