THE POWER OF HOLINESS IN THE LAST DAYS (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Romans 6:23 KJV: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

THE DANGER OF UNHOLINESS: In these last days, many have abandoned holiness for worldly pleasures and compromise. The danger of unholiness is eternal separation from God, for sin cannot enter into His kingdom. Unholiness weakens a believer, quenches the Spirit, and opens the door for the devil to take advantage (Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 8:6-7).

UNHOLINESS BREEDS DECEPTION: When a believer neglects holiness, their spiritual sensitivity becomes dull. This is why many are carried away by false prophets, seductive doctrines, and the love of money. Unholiness blinds the eyes from seeing the truth and deafens the ears from hearing God’s voice (2 Timothy 4:3-4; 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

THE END OF UNHOLINESS IS DESTRUCTION: The Scriptures are clear that without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Those who continue in sin without repentance are heading toward eternal damnation. Hell was not created for man but for the devil and his angels, yet all who refuse holiness and righteousness will partake in that eternal punishment (Matthew 7:21-23; Revelation 21:8).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, deliver me from every form of unholiness. Keep me from the deception of sin and help me to live in righteousness all the days of my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
