THE POWER OF HOLINESS IN THE LAST DAYS

KEY TEXT: Hebrews 12:14 KJV: “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

THE CALL TO HOLINESS: Holiness is not an option but a command for every believer in Christ. In these last days, where sin is increasing and iniquity abounds, God still demands a holy life from His children. Holiness is separation from sin and dedication to God in thought, word, and deed. Without holiness, no man, regardless of title, position, or service, shall see the Lord (1 Peter 1:15-16; 2 Corinthians 7:1).

HOLINESS AS A SHIELD IN THE END TIMES: These perilous times are marked by deception, corruption, and moral decay. Only those who walk in holiness can escape the traps of the enemy. Holiness purifies the heart, strengthens the conscience, and keeps believers vigilant for the coming of Christ. A holy believer cannot be easily swayed by false doctrines or worldly enticements (Matthew 24:12-13; Titus 2:11-12).

HOLINESS, THE EVIDENCE OF GOD’S OWNERSHIP: The mark of true sonship in Christ is a life of holiness. Anyone who claims to belong to Christ but continues in sin is deceiving themselves. Holiness is the seal of God’s ownership, showing that the believer is set apart for His glory. Those who live holy will be recognized as Christ’s own on the day of His appearing (2 Timothy 2:19; 1 John 3:2-3).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, cleanse me with Your blood and empower me by Your Spirit to live holy in this sinful world, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
