THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS —PART 5
KEY TEXT: Luke 6:37 KJV: “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.”

Forgiveness is not a one-time act; it is a daily spiritual discipline. Offenses may come, but a mature believer chooses forgiveness repeatedly. Jesus made it clear that forgiveness must become a lifestyle, not an occasional reaction. When you live in forgiveness daily, you walk in continuous freedom and spiritual authority. (Matthew 18:21–22; Proverbs 4:23)
Living in forgiveness keeps your heart prepared for Christ’s return. Unforgiveness contaminates the soul and hinders spiritual readiness. A heart free from resentment is light, pure, and spiritually alert. As believers awaiting the coming of the Lord, we must keep our hearts clean and void of offense toward God and toward men. (Acts 24:16; 1 John 3:2–3)
Ultimately, forgiveness reflects true sonship. When we forgive, we mirror our Heavenly Father. Christ forgave us completely; therefore, we forgive others sincerely. A forgiving life is a victorious life — free from chains, full of peace, and rich in divine reward. Choose daily to walk in forgiveness and experience its lasting power. (Colossians 3:13; Ephesians 4:32)
