THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: MARK 11:26 KJV – “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

Unforgiveness is a spiritual blockage. Many believers are fasting, praying, and sowing, yet their heavens remain closed—not because God cannot bless, but because unforgiveness stands in the way. Forgiveness is the key that reopens closed heavens.

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” – PSALM 66:18

Forgiveness is not for others alone—it is protection for your soul. When you forgive, you disarm Satan and deny him access to manipulate your emotions, relationships, and destiny. Refusing to forgive gives the devil a foothold in your life.

“Neither give place to the devil.” – EPHESIANS 4:27

Forgiveness restores relationships and reconciles us to God and to one another. Marriages, families, churches, and friendships can be healed when someone dares to say, “I forgive.” The blood of Jesus reconciled us—let that same love flow through you.

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ…” – 2 CORINTHIANS 5:18

Child of God, let forgiveness be your daily practice. Don’t wait for an apology to release someone. Forgive in advance. Forgive even when it’s not deserved—just as Christ forgave us. There is no breakthrough greater than a clean heart and an open heaven.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, cleanse my heart from every grudge, bitterness, and hidden pain. Teach me to walk in love and forgiveness daily. Let nothing separate me from Your presence, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
