THE NEED FOR BELIEVER'S CONSECRATION (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 KJV: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

CONSECRATION THROUGH PRAYER AND FASTING: Prayer and fasting are essential disciplines that aid in consecration. When we dedicate time to seek God, denying the flesh, our spiritual sensitivity increases. Fasting humbles us before the Lord, allowing Him to refine and strengthen us. "But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly" (Matthew 6:17-18).

ENDURING UNTIL THE END: Consecration is not a one-time event but a lifelong commitment. We must remain steadfast in our dedication to God, enduring trials and temptations with faith. Those who remain faithful to the end will receive the reward of eternal life. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matthew 24:13).

THE REWARD OF A CONSECRATED LIFE: A life of consecration brings immeasurable blessings. God draws near to those who seek Him wholeheartedly, and He rewards them with His presence, guidance, and eternal joy. In the end, we will stand before Him, hearing the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Are you living a consecrated lifestyle, pleasing God in all you do? It may sometimes be painful, tempting, humiliating when walking with God in true consecration, but don't give up because the pain is not to be compared with the rewards. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God" (MATTHEW 5:8).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, please grant me steadfast grace to stay committed to your will till the end, as I strive daily to live a life of consecration, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
