THE MOTIONS OF SIN (PART 7)
KEY TEXT: Romans 6:23 KJV: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

THE DESTRUCTIVE END OF SIN: The final destination of unchecked sin is destruction. The motions of sin may begin quietly in thoughts, desires, and compromises, but if not dealt with, they eventually lead to spiritual death. Sin always promises pleasure, but it ultimately produces pain, separation, and destruction. (James 1:15)
Many lives have been destroyed not because sin appeared dangerous at the beginning, but because it was tolerated and allowed to grow. Sin affects a person’s spiritual life, destiny, peace, and relationship with God. When sin matures, it produces emptiness, bondage, and ultimately eternal separation from God if not repented of. (Isaiah 59:2)
However, God’s desire is not destruction but salvation. Jesus Christ came to rescue man from the eternal consequence of sin through His sacrifice on the cross. Every believer who turns to Christ in repentance can receive forgiveness, restoration, and eternal life. Through Christ, sin does not have the final say. (John 3:16)
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus, deliver me from every path that leads to destruction. Keep my life aligned with Your Word and preserve my soul unto eternal life in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
REFLECTION:
Proverbs 14:12 KJV: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

2. Lord Jesus, preserve my soul and keep me steadfast in righteousness unto the end in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. Father, let the power of sin not prevail over my destiny and eternal salvation in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
