THE MOTIONS OF SIN (PART 10)

KEY TEXT: Romans 8:37 KJV: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

VICTORY OVER THE MOTIONS OF SIN: The ultimate victory over the motions of sin is found in Jesus Christ. Sin does not have the final authority over a believer who is fully surrendered to God. Through the finished work of Christ on the cross, every believer has been empowered to live above sin and walk in continual victory. (1 Corinthians 15:57)

Victory over sin is not a one-time experience, but a daily walk of submission, discipline, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. When a believer consistently yields to God, the power of sin is broken, and righteousness begins to reign in their life. This is the true identity of a child of God—one who overcomes sin through Christ. (Romans 6:14)

Every believer must therefore remain steadfast, prayerful, and rooted in God’s Word. The grace of God empowers us not only to resist sin but to live in dominion over it. Through Christ, believers are not victims of sin but victors over it, walking in holiness, authority, and spiritual triumph. (Galatians 2:20)

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me victory over sin through Your sacrifice. Establish me in righteousness and help me to live as more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

REFLECTION:

1 Corinthians 15:57 KJV “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, thank You for the victory I have in Christ over every motion of sin in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. Lord Jesus, establish me in continual righteousness and keep me steadfast in You unto the end in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Father, let the power of sin never dominate my life again; I walk in victory through Christ in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
