SPEAKING THE SAME LANGUAGE OF LOVE (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: John 13:35 KJV– “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

If we want miracles to manifest in the church, we all must be in unity and possess the genuine love that the Lord is talking about. The Bible asks, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3). The pastors and their assistants cannot walk together unless they are in unity, neither can the pastors, choristers and members, unless they are in unity. Psalm 133:1

We all will make it to heaven if only we are in unity, if only our knees have been bent to pray for one another void of selfishness. Some people are selfish in prayer, all they pray about is, “My wife, my children, my husband, my family”. Let us do away with selfishness, and learn to share what we have together. Let us learn to love one another. 1 Corinthians 13:5

After Christ had done everything and finished his work on earth, he prayed a prayer: “Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are” (John 17:21). When Christ is promising peace and unity, and you are causing confusion, disunity, hatred, unforgiveness in your heart, it means you are fighting against the prayer that Christ prayed. Ephesians 4:3

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus Christ, unite the church all over the world. Remove every spirit of selfishness and help us to be one just as You and the Father are one, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

REFLECTION:

1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV – “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
