KINDLING FIRE IN GOD'S ANGER (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Matthew 22:12-13 – “And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

I will tell you that the most painful thing in hell is not the pain, neither is it the beating. The greatest pain in hell is the realization of what could have been avoided, but was refused. It is the weight of a conscience reminding you of the preachings and warnings you heard but refused to act upon. The conscience beats from the inside saying, “Can you see what you have caused yourself?” Your soul will be beating you, your spirit will be beating you, your conscience will be beating you and demons tormenting you. Matthew 13:40-42

Jeremiah 4:3 says, “For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.” Some people are holy and pure, but sowing their seeds among thorns. They are sowing their seeds in places where God does not exist. You are as good as that so-called man of God you are sowing your seed in.

Jeremiah 4:4 urges you to “Circumcise yourself to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart.” Take away the foreskin that makes your heart hardened no matter the preaching you hear. You must ensure to take away that foreskin of iniquity or else demons will help you to pull it off in hell.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, I humbly surrender to You. Have mercy upon me and deliver me from the lifestyle of sin that has eaten me up, waiting to destroy my soul in hell, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Mark 9:43 – “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father Lord, by Your mercy, examine my life and strip me of every garment of hypocrisy, compromise, and false assurance. Clothe me with the true wedding garment of righteousness, holiness, and obedience, so I will not be found speechless before You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. O Lord my Creator, according to Your word in Jeremiah 4:4, circumcise my heart and remove every foreskin of iniquity, pride, stubbornness, and resistance to correction. Let my heart remain tender, responsive, and broken before You, that Your word will not rise against me in judgment on the last day, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. My Father and my God, by Your fire, uproot me from every wrong spiritual ground where I have been sowing among thorns. Deliver me from every corrupt altar, ungodly association, and misleading voice that provokes Your anger, and plant me firmly where Your presence, truth, and righteousness abide, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. O Lord my Father, grant me the grace and courage to cut off anything in my life—habits, relationships, pleasures, or practices—that offends You and leads to hellfire. I receive power to choose eternal life over temporary pleasure, that I will not regret in eternity what I could have avoided on earth, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
