FIGHTING FOR THE PRIZE OF THE HIGH CALLING (PART 8)

YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: To win the prize of the high calling, your relationship with God must be steadfast and unshakable. The storms of life will come, opposition will rise, but your faith must remain anchored in Christ. Beloved, nothing in this world should separate you from the love of God (Romans 8:38–39). Running for the prize requires consistency in prayer, worship, and obedience, no matter the circumstances. Your love for God must remain unmovable, even when others turn back. Job 23:10

YOUR SPIRITUAL CONDITION: A true contender for the prize lives in abundance of service unto the Lord. Paul encouraged believers to always abound in the work of the Lord, knowing that their labour is not in vain. Your spiritual condition must reflect diligence and productivity in God’s kingdom. Laziness, complacency, or spiritual slumber will rob you of your crown. Remember, the Lord is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love (Hebrews 6:10). Keep serving Him faithfully until the end.

THE VOICE OF YOUR CONSCIENCE: Your conscience should constantly encourage you to keep pressing forward, reminding you that your reward is eternal. When it seems like your sacrifices are unnoticed, your conscience—illuminated by the Spirit—will assure you that God is watching. The flesh may whisper that the race is too hard or that your efforts are wasted, but the Spirit of God within you testifies that your labour is not in vain. Hold fast, for the crown awaits those who endure. 2 Corinthians 4:1

PRAYER:

Lord, strengthen me to remain steadfast, unmovable, and abounding in Your work until the day I receive the crown of life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

REFLECTION:

Galatians 6:7–8 KJV – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. My Father and my God, strengthen my relationship with You to remain steadfast and unmovable. No storm, trial, or opposition shall shake my faith in You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

2. Lord Jesus Christ, fill me with diligence and zeal to abound continually in Your work. Deliver me from spiritual laziness, complacency, and distraction, that I may serve You faithfully until the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

3. O Lord my God, let my conscience be quickened by Your Spirit to remind me that my labour in You is never in vain. When I feel weary or unappreciated, let Your assurance strengthen me to keep pressing on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.

4. My Father and my God, help me to remain faithful and fruitful in all I do for Your kingdom. Let my love for You never grow cold, and let nothing separate me from Your presence until I receive the crown of life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, Amen.
