FAITHFUL CONTINUITY IS REQUIRED (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Revelation 7:14 KJV: “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

You will know if you are actually serving God, when you are out of your comfort zone. Until you are tested, you cannot be trusted. All the disciples, all the apostles were tested. People are no longer taught to prepare themselves for persecution. They are taught how they will be blessed, how to buy material things, and when temptations come, they back out. Jesus admonished the church in Smyrna to be faithful, that, “Ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life” (Revelation 2:10)

The Bible tells us that Jesus will present us holy in His sight, “If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel…” (Colossians 1:23). You will be qualified at the end if you are able to stand on the gospel you heard yesterday. To become a champion is not easy, but to remain a champion is the problem, because when you are a champion, people do more work to challenge you.

It takes a strong mind to remain in the truth. Jesus told his disciples, “Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me” (Luke 22:28-30). This is what the Lord is waiting to tell us on the last day. Whatever you and I need to do, to continue to stand strong, let's do it now in the name of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, whatever the devil is bringing my way, to put me out of the way, stop them by the way, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Hebrews 10:23 KJV – “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, by the power of the Blood of the Lamb, grant me grace to remain faithful in trials, persecutions, and temptations; I will not abandon the faith when pressure arises, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

2. Lord, strengthen my inner man to stand grounded and settled in the truth of the gospel; I refuse to be moved away from the hope I first believed, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. O God, give me a strong and disciplined mind to continue with Christ in temptations, just as the early apostles did; I will not compromise my calling, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. Every strategy of the enemy designed to wear me out, discourage me, or push me out of divine alignment—be stopped by the way and destroyed by fire, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

5. Father, empower me to finish strong; let my faith endure unto the end so that I may receive the crown of life promised to those who remain faithful, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
