FAITHFUL CONTINUITY IS REQUIRED

KEY TEXT: Jeremiah 45:5 KJV - “And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not…”

Every one of us came from above. However, of thousands and thousands who descended from above, only a few go back to God. The question He is asking you now is: “Will you come back to me?” There's nothing we should be seeking or living for. If you breathe your last breath today, your worldly possessions—your cars and houses—will be used without your permission. Nothing in this world is worth dying for, as those things cannot die for you (John 6:27).

Everyone has their own time and purpose. Performing tasks at the wrong time can lead to significant problems.

There are individuals who were meant to serve God in their younger years, such as in their 20s or 30s. After waiting, the Lord may find a replacement to fulfill that role. Consequently, by the time these individuals begin their work, they may find their intended glory has been passed to someone else. It is possible to be released from one’s divine assignment while still performing the tasks, as God is the only employer who can replace a person even while they remain active in their role (1 Samuel 15:26, 35).

God requires not just continuity, but faithful continuity. It is not enough to simply continue; you must be a faithful worker. He is looking for workers who stand by the "yes" they gave Him yesterday (1 Corinthians 4:2).

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, take away anything from me that will make me not to return to You on the last day, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Luke 19:13 KJV – “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”

PRAYER POINTS:

1. O Lord, by Your mercy, let me not lose my place, my timing, or my assignment in Your agenda in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

2. I reject every form of spiritual carelessness that leads to replacement. Help me to labor acceptably before You in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

3. Father, align my life, service, and decisions with Your perfect timing and purpose in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

4. O Lord, deliver me from doing the right thing at the wrong time, and help me to walk accurately in Your will all the days of my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

5. Lord Jesus, remove every earthly attachment, distraction, and ambition that competes with my eternal destination. Let my life, service, and sacrifice count for eternity, and grant me grace to return to You faithfully on the last day in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
