DO YOU VALUE YOUR SOUL? (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: 3 John 1:2 KJV: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

If you are prospering in every other thing at the expense of your soul: financially, in childbearing or in whatever way, you are not prospering, you are ‘prosperishing’. When a man of God is declaring and you are saying, “Amen”, ask yourself, “First of all, has my soul prospered? Have I done the important thing?” Apostle John’s desire for the followers of Christ was, “I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and live in health, even as thy soul prosperest.” Psalm 37:7

Seek ye first the prosperity of your soul, and every other thing shall be added unto you. Meanwhile, if you get the other things, without the prosperity of your soul, you've got nothing. You have just bought your ticket into hell. Are you prospered in your soul? Have you sought the kingdom of God and gotten it in your hand? And when you think you have gotten it, search if it is in righteousness and holiness, so that when you close your eyes and open them, you will open them in a place where you can live in. Luke 12:15

There is a place you cannot live in —hell. It is not a place that is designed for man to live in, but souls are right there. It is a place where there is no breath, but souls languishing there without breath, water, food, and they have no rest day or night. It is a place where you see monsters you have never seen before. Hell is a place of fear, but you cannot run away from it. Luke 12:5

PRAYER:

Lord God, give me the grace to live the life worthy of making it to heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

REFLECTION:

Luke 16:23 – “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”
