DO YOU VALUE YOUR SOUL?

KEY TEXT: Ezekiel 18:4 KJV– “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

If we valued our souls, there are a lot of things we wouldn’t do to harm our souls. If we valued our souls, we would consider the place our souls will forever be (spend eternity) after departing the earth. So many people are begging to hear, “Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and don't go to hell,” but nobody hears them anymore. — John 12:48

The opportunities we take for granted are the ones they are crying for—to come and do the work of God you are being begged to do. You may be saying you are too tired to go to church or to share tracts because it is a shame to you. If you valued your soul, you would do more than that. If you know what souls are going through in hell, nobody will tell you what to do, neither will you let anybody distract you. The question to you and I is: Do we actually value our souls? — Matthew 5:30

We have a spirit which convicts us whenever we are about to do the wrong thing. Sometimes, we force ourselves to do what is wrong, saying we will ask God for mercy later. Why can't we simply stop doing what we know is wrong? Remember, we do not know when we will breathe our last breath on earth. Note that all sin kills the soul—no sin is too small to be allowed into the Kingdom of God. — Revelation 21:27

PRAYER:

I receive the grace to value my soul and work out my salvation with fear and trembling by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

Revelation 3:19 KJV: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.”
