DEDICATION TO GOD IS DEMANDED

KEY TEXT: Revelation 14:12 KJV: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

WHAT IS DEDICATION?
Dedication means to fully commit yourself to something or someone. When we dedicate ourselves to God, it means we are giving Him our time, energy, and love. It is a decision to follow Him no matter what happens. Dedication is not just about words but about actions that show we truly love and serve Him. "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" (ROMANS 12:1).

GOD DESIRES OUR FULL COMMITMENT:
God does not want us to serve Him halfway; He wants our whole heart. Just as we give our best effort on important things like school, work, or family, God wants us to give Him our best, too. He does not want to share our hearts with anything that takes us away from Him. "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (MATTHEW 22:37).

DEDICATION REQUIRES OBEDIENCE:
One way we show our dedication to God is by obeying His Word. When we obey God, we show that we trust Him and believe that His way is the best. Obedience is not always easy, but it brings blessings and helps us grow in our faith. "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (JOHN 14:15).

PRAYER:

Father Lord Jesus, have mercy on me for walking with you and working for you halfheartedly. I repent today. Grant me the grace to fully dedicate my all to you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

COLOSSIANS 3:17 KJV: "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."
