BORN AGAIN — NOT ADJUSTMENT
KEY TEXT: 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV:“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

NEW BIRTH AS A SPIRITUAL REALITY:
Being born again is not a religious adjustment or moral refinement; it is a spiritual rebirth. Many people attempt to adjust their behavior without allowing God to transform their nature. However, salvation is not about improving the old life but receiving a completely new one in Christ. When a man is born again, his spirit is regenerated, and a new life begins. John 3:3–6; Ezekiel 36:26.
WHY ADJUSTMENT IS NOT ENOUGH:
Adjustment focuses on outward conduct, but the new birth addresses the heart. No amount of discipline, self-effort, or religious activity can replace the power of regeneration. God does not repair the old man; He crucifies it and raises a new man in Christ. True Christianity is not managing sin but living from a new nature empowered by the Holy Spirit. Romans 6:4–6; Galatians 2:20.
LIVING OUT THE NEW CREATION LIFE:
The evidence of being born again is a transformed life marked by new desires, new appetites, and new priorities. The believer now walks in righteousness, not by pressure, but by nature. As we yield daily to the Holy Spirit, the life of Christ is expressed through us, producing victory over sin, consistency in obedience, and fruitfulness in service. Romans 8:1–2; Philippians 2:13.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for the gift of the new birth through Jesus Christ. I reject every form of religious adjustment without transformation. Let the reality of the new creation life be fully expressed in me. Help me to walk daily in newness of life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and let my life reflect Your glory, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
REFLECTION:
John 3:7 KJV: “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, I thank You for making me a new creature in Christ; let the reality of the new birth dominate every area of my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
2. Every operation of the old man in my life, I declare you crucified with Christ; I walk in newness of life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
3. Lord, give me a new heart and a new spirit that delights in righteousness and obedience, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
4. I reject every form of religious adjustment without transformation; let my Christianity be a living experience of regeneration, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
