A DEEPER WALK WITH GOD IS DEMANDED (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: EPHESIANS 5:1 KJV: Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.

WALKING WITH GOD MEANS TRUSTING HIM IN DIFFICULT SEASONS: Trials and hardships will come, but those who walk with God are never alone. He walks with us through the fire, just as He was with the three Hebrew boys in the furnace. "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee" (ISAIAH 43:2).

WALKING WITH GOD REQUIRES ENDURANCE AND PATIENCE: The journey of faith is not a sprint but a marathon. Many people give up when challenges arise, but those who endure will receive the promises of God. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (MATTHEW 24:13).

A TRUE WALK WITH GOD PRODUCES THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: The evidence of walking with Him is a transformed life that reflects His character—love, joy, peace, patience, and more. The complete fruit of the spirit, according to GALATIANS 5:22 must manifest in your life if truly you are walking with God. Let people see you as the Bible and a mirror to look at and correct themselves. "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh"(GALATIANS 5:16).

PRAYER:

Father, let my life reflect you, and let everyone see you in all that I do as I walk with you daily, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION:

1 JOHN 2:6 KJV: "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
