A DEEPER WALK WITH GOD IS DEMANDED (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: JAMES 4:8 KJV: “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

WALKING WITH GOD REQUIRES HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS: We cannot walk in fellowship with a holy God while living in sin. He calls us to live blamelessly, separating ourselves from ungodly ways. "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." (1 JOHN 2:6)

WALKING WITH GOD BRINGS DIVINE DIRECTION AND PROTECTION: When we stay close to Him, He orders our steps and shields us from destruction. His Word becomes a guiding light for our path, ensuring that we do not stumble. "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way" (PSALM 37:23).

A LIFE OF PRAYER STRENGTHENS OUR WALK WITH GOD: Jesus often withdrew to pray, showing us that intimacy with God is cultivated in the secret place. If we want to walk closely with Him, we must prioritize prayer daily. "Pray without ceasing" (1 THESSALONIANS 5:17).

PRAYER :

Lord Jesus, please strengthen my prayer life and empower me to stay in your secret place daily to strengthen my intimacy with you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

GENESIS 6:9 KJV: “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”
